Thank You to our supporters in the COVID-19 Fight

To all those who have contributed to our feed a family campaign, I am writing to express my gratitude to you for considering this cause.

Siyakholwa Support Care Centre has raised R350 000 and fed over 5500 families since the announcement of the national lockdown. This impact would not have been possible without your kind contributions.

We would also like to make a special mention of Germiston Meat Shop which contributed to food parcels for 380 families.

And a special thank you to Sandra Phillips who contributed Checkers Vouchers to the value of R 30 000.00 so that we could further assist 480 families with food parcels.

Thanks to generous donations we continue to fight hunger and malnutrition during this very trying time.

As the lockdown transitions into level 4, we are holding thumbs that the pressure eases on the “missing middle” people who do not qualify for social grants but are not fully employed. In the interim please keep those individuals that are still going hungry in your thoughts, and know that each and every one of you as our donors is in our thoughts as we are filled with nothing but gratitude.

Thank you for being a part of a community that came together to support those rendered vulnerable by the COVID-19 virus.

Siyakholwa Support care Centre has launched a campaign to feed families rendered vulnerable by the spread of the COVID-19 virus.

With the help of public donations, we are providing food parcels to our country’s deepest rural areas and informal settlements.

We are a registered NPO with a track record of fighting malnutrition in South Africa for over 15 years.
